Cornish Ice Cream is a family run business in the heart of Looe, Cornwall. 

Before Gibson's had been created, Phil and Mandy Gibson had been running a wholesale bakery for the past 20 years with the additional running of a Cafe. They then decided to start a new venture of producing handmade artisan Ice Cream for wholesale and retail catering outlets. Gibson's first started in January 2017 in West Looe, with Phil, Mandy and Kirsty creating the business from scratch. The original outlook of the business was to wholesale handmade Ice Cream within the area of Looe and Polperro. 

The Gibson Family have lived in Looe throughout many generations and therefore felt it was very important to use the family name with Looe's idyllic scenery in the background. The business then started to grow very quickly.

At the end of 2017, Phil and Mandy decided to sell the wholesale bakery business and move to a unit  at the barbican industrial estate in East Looe; to carry on their venture of producing Ice Cream with their daughter Kirsty. Since opening the business, Gibson's Cornish Ice Cream now delivers throughout the whole of south east cornwall, providing scoop to cone ice cream, 125ml spoon in lid tubs, Vegan ice cream, sorbets, cones and ice cream extra's.

You can buy our products at our Licensed Bar in East Looe at The Old Boathouse, The Quay, serving Ice Cream and Sorbets in Cones, Pots, knickerbocker glories and our famous milkshakes! Come and have a taste!
